ROXAS YOUR NAME MAN. It doesn't ping right for Jade at all. He's completely tempted to switch back to calling him Twilight, but Roxas has a clear preference, so he will suffer it. But it still doesn't sound right when he says it and it's a relatively minor annoyance for Jade.

Overall, he thinks he's a good kid. Serious, but good. Also hilarious on a haunch, but he'll never mention that bit because that's entertainment just for himself. Except if they share embarrassing memories of one another in a game somewhere. POST-GAME: Jade's actually concerned for him. Killing someone's not something he's all that worried about, but clearly for Roxas, that's a whole different monster. So you will get loomed a lot in future posts, jsyk.

In a strange way, Jade's one of the people in Aather Roxas feels most comfortable with. He's a snarky troll, but Roxas gets that's just how he interacts, and knows he can snark back. The looming makes him crank-face, but isn't actually something he minds.

Who in Aather would you say Jade is the closest to?

The closest, I think, is Konatsu, and that is so so sad in so many ways.

Is there anyone Roxas is closer to than his sort-of twin?

Not at the moment. He's not the sort of person who gets close to people that easily, without some override, like 'oh, hey, you're family.' Which turned out to not be true, but there's clearly some connection there. The other way I can see him getting close to someone quickly is if that person really went out of their way to be close, and supplied a role definition, like 'oh, hey, we're friends,' as happened with Axel in canon.
