... first time I met Nimue was actually in a dream, but I don't think I could just replicate that.

As for direct approach... well, I'm a chatty and charming guy. I could manage a conversation without really touching on what I want to touch on at first...

Writers put down their words, so others can see them. Similarly, orators speak out their words so others can hear them. Same goals, different media.

And sometimes, writers need their words spoken. Not everyone likes to read, you know.
