Lightning arrived not long before I left, so yes. It's good to hear she, Roxas, and Stealth are fine, though.

I don't recognize Cascade.

Not really. The guy who got here before me, Merlot, and then the guy after me, Captain Morgan, were put into Beauty's book.

The entire time I was with the team playing, there was only ever one Booking. I don't think Winter's had to deal with one at all.

... yeah, I've heard Emerald's always been one of the more steady teams.

It's been pretty rough lately.

... not just the team losses. Two bad games in less than twenty days--I dunno how frequent it was for you guys back then or if you know Mira or Pandora or anything like that. Camelot's been nothing but snow for months, and just when we're making progress with getting spring back, Snow Queen goes and gives us blizzards and a freakin' avalanche.

Guess you could say I'm calling you up for some perspective.

I'd ask Stealth but he already gets a lot of stuff put on him, being the eldest one here. And you were here before he was, I'm pretty sure.

Plus, it's a way to get to know old teammates, right?

[in other words, clearly the best way to hear worse news than what you've already learned about the world around you is to talk to someone you don't know. less involvement, right? he can totally keep from getting involved with some Emerald he's never even really met before. totally.]

During my time, Three was the biggest threat. I believe there was a game where people ventured into her heart, but the aftermath of that wasn't better. It was less predictable. The timing for the worse off games sounds about right.

From the sounds of things, it seems like everyone finished in her realm and she chose to stay behind with it. Hers was the second realm we were in, after all. You're in the fourth now, I believe.

Mira killed everyone on every team present at the very start of her last game.

An upgrade. We used to vote for who would be killed or saved.

I'd almost rather that. At least there'd be something of a fighting chance.

Then I suppose we have differing opinions of preference. [shrugs] It's always complicated when people know you picked them to die.

I don't... know what I'd do in that situation. But I've thought about it. I have brothers and people from home on other teams, so I have to think about it. And I've heard about how Emerald has made the choice to not choose in the past.

At least it was your choice to make. Not the Persona's.

Then I suppose it's good that I'm here and not there. Goodness knows how much the team has changed since I was last there.

I've always been a bit of an outlier. It's good the team has a different outlook still.
