This is bare bones spear fighting. None of the fonic artes involved with Jade's usual terrible lacking-guilt overkill fighting method. Not that he wouldn't fight dirty anyways. Buuut this means he can protect himself now!!!
And maybe practice after dawn now outside of the cabin. And kill a hippo.
